Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-07-15
CHAI PARTNERS LLC (“CHAI PARTNERS”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website chai18.co (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
Information you provide. When you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address, and any information you include in your message, so that we can respond to you.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our hosting provider automatically records limited technical data — such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and the pages you request — for security, fraud prevention, and reliability. With your consent, we also collect analytics data about how the Site is used (see Cookies and analytics below).
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, and we do not knowingly collect information from children (see Children’s privacy).
Cookies and analytics
We keep cookies and similar technologies to a minimum:
- Consent preference. We store your cookie choice in your browser’s local storage so we don’t ask you again. This is required for the Site to remember your decision and is not used for tracking.
- Analytics. Only after you accept via our cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the Site. Analytics cookies are not set until you consent, IP addresses are anonymized, and you can decline or withdraw consent at any time using the cookie controls.
We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
How we use your information
We use the information described above to:
- respond to your inquiries and communicate with you;
- operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site (analytics only with consent);
- detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or misuse; and
- comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Legal bases (EEA / UK visitors)
Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: your consent (for analytics cookies); our legitimate interests (to respond to you, and to keep the Site secure and functional); and legal obligation (where we must retain or disclose information by law). You may withdraw consent at any time.
How we share information
We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Site, under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection terms:
- Formspree, Inc. — processes and delivers contact-form submissions.
- Google LLC (Google Analytics) — usage analytics, consent-gated.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting, content delivery, and security.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of CHAI PARTNERS, our users, or others. We do not sell or rent personal information.
International data transfers
Our service providers are located in the United States, so your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
Data retention
We keep contact-form submissions for as long as necessary to respond to you and for reasonable record-keeping, after which they are deleted or anonymized. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider’s settings.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- EEA / UK: access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, object to certain processing, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
- California: know what personal information we collect, request its deletion or correction, and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (we do not sell or share it), without discrimination for exercising your rights.
To make a request, email us at miki@chai18.co. We will respond as required by applicable law.
Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
